Note in Temple Joyce’s file: “Dr. Joe Joyce died 9/23/1933—born 1889.”

 

Joseph C. Joyce is listed in Biographical Notes on Baltimore Notables. In the biographical entry, Joseph claims that his paternal grandfather (Henry Joyce II, married to Mary Bennett Wheeler) immigrated from Ireland. He also claims that Henry came to Maryland in "Pioneer times." This isn’t accurate. 1805, the year Henry was born, were hardly Pioneer Times.

Also, Temple Joyce's research files have Dr. Joseph C. Joyce's middle name as being Congor, instead of Collinson.
